The Northern Borders University has established the vice presidency for female student affairs to support female students’ academic careers. This agency offers a unique level of privacy for female students, setting them apart from male students regarding educational opportunities and access to high-quality intellectual and technical services. This support is available across all faculties, deanships, departments, and academic programs, from entry-level to graduation. The vice presidency for female student affairs works with the university's academic affairs vice presidency to ensure female students can access the best educational resources available.
Currently, the vice presidency for female students' affairs at the university is experiencing growth in scientific, administrative, and technical activities to provide an appealing university environment and foster a distinguished academic climate. In addition, the vice presidency offers a range of educational programs tailored to the needs of students who are mothers, teachers, nurses, doctors, researchers, social specialists, and others. The vice presidency is led by an outstanding "leading woman" who effectively assumes leadership roles in various official and private settings as a substitute for men daily.
The university has been actively monitoring and upgrading its educational and technical infrastructure and academic and educational services in all areas of university education through the vice presidency for female student affairs. It has also established the women's empowerment unit, which has received full support to develop a strategic plan for promoting women leaders' education, training, and preparation among the university and its female students. The unit regularly arranges events, forums, training workshops, lectures, and other activities related to students in the university and society, in collaboration with its partners among national authorities.
We are a university vice presidency dedicated to enhancing the educational services provided to female students; we ensure that our academic environment is exceptional, with well-maintained halls, laboratories, and theatres. We continuously update our admission and electronic registration services and e-learning and distance learning software to provide our students with the best possible learning experience. Our academic guidance and counselling services assist students from their admission to graduation. We provide family medicine clinics to monitor the health and well-being of our female students and raise awareness of important health issues. To ensure educational stability for our female students, we offer kindergartens in our faculties and deanships, medical clinics for each faculty, sports training clubs, health nutrition experts, and restaurants that meet the highest health standards. Furthermore, we provide digital library services to enable easy access to all academic resources.
The vice presidency’s future plan envisions developing initiatives and projects that foster improvement and creativity among the students of Northern Borders University. Through this, they aim to raise their abilities, knowledge potential, and skills to prepare them for scientific and practical competitions. By achieving these goals, the students can contribute to the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and uphold the status of women, which is protected under the tolerant Islamic Sharia. Moreover, the agency seeks to support the decision-making policy to achieve leadership and excellence in building students’ personalities and enhancing their scientific and practical competence.
God grants success,
The university vice president for student affairs :
